After a few issues with trying to get my Android TV to recognise the signal from the V6 box today, I rebooted the V6 (as it had not been rebooted for a long while). Now when it starts the resolution is only showing 720x576 and there is no sound or picture.
Rather helpfully after going through the support on the website it advised me (after trying everything) to download Virgin TV Go app!

UPDATE: I have picture (poor quality, not HD) but still no sound

What's showing in your V6 picture settings? Is 1080 selected?

After a long while talking to support on the phone I managed to get picture back intermittently but still no sound. Many, many reboots.
Managed to find a different HDMI cable and swapped the cable, and changed to use a different HDMI port on the TV, and it now works. Strange that, for a while, the menus would display but would get no TV picture.
All sorted now
