Re: s102 unable to acquire channel info

Hello

Ok thats good hardwired is excellent, so first things first, go around and check that all connections to the VM equipment are hand tight, turn off all equipment for approx 20 secs, then turn on the hub first and wait for the lights to stablise can take about 1 minute or so, then power on the TIVO.

Check again if you still get the same error.

Re: s102 unable to acquire channel info

You will need to call it in at some point it will require at least a "signal" sending to the box.

Re: s102 unable to acquire channel info

You do have the V6 connected to both the broadband hub and the co-ax? You need both for a V6.

As a Very Insightful Person, I'm here to share my knowledge. I don't work for Virgin Media.

Re: s102 unable to acquire channel info

Did he/you call in to "Activate' the equipment ? if not - do so - the number used to be...0800 953 9500

Worth trying even if they did as it may not have happened.
