does my v6 box have to be connected to hdmi arc

Hi i have bought a Sonos Beam and i have to connect it via HDMI ARC but my v6 box is using this port.

Does the V6 have to be connected to HDMI ARC or can i use normal HDMI.

The optical port is the other option but the supplied adapter from Sonos doesn’t plug into my TV optical out.

My V6 boxes are connected to my TV's HDMI 1 port.

ARC (Audio Return Channel) provides an audio output from the TV to the sound device (your SONOS in this case).

ARC means nothing to an HDMI source device (such as your V6).

As suggested, connect your V6 to HDMI 1 and the HDMI-ARC to your SONOS.

Does the SONOS have two HDMI connectors?

No the Sonos only has one HDMI connector.
