can not get apps

Hi

Just bought a nighthawk router for a better wifi. Put the virgin hub 3 into modem mode have great wifi now/ but when I go into the v6 tv box and select all apps I get " there was a problem connecting to the media service. (C130) is there anything else that I need to do to get the apps.

Also the arrows flashing on the tv box

You have changed your home network so need to tell the V6 about its new WiFi, assuming you are connecting it by WiFi.

I took the ethernet cable out of the Virgin Router and plugged it into the Nighthawk and hey presto apps now working, Thanks for all your advice

Sorry, I assumed you were using WiFi.

As your Nighthawk is now providing routing function, all connections go through it, including your Ethernet connections, as you established for your V6.
