does anyone know why when i resume a program on bbc iplayer it is playing back from about 10 mins before where I stopped it. this only happens on the v6 box and there's no performance issues otherwise

Is this the in-app resume function? In other words, the app has loaded and prompts you to either "resume" or "start from beginnning" before starting the stream?

I'm quite minded to say this is an iPlayer function, and so it's a query best directed at the BBC.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/help/questions/features/cross-device-resume points the finger at cookies, which applies to all "device" viewing but admittedly not a V6. Does resuming programmes work if you pause on a laptop/tablet and try to resume on your V6, or vice-versa?
