....another ‘Picture Breakup’ thread (CR2 area).

Picture breakup on ITV HD tonight, especially whilst watching ‘Cleaning Up’ between 9pm and 10pm.  Status page shows ‘No Faults’....

By using the Check service status link and logging in, you are then able check the signal levels, which may indicate an issue specific to your connection.

.....with all due respect, I don’t think it’s got anything to do with signal issues seeing that so many users are reporting the same exact issue all over the country.

Re: ....another ‘Picture Breakup’ thread (CR2 area).

Can VM please give us a definitive answer as to whether or not this is a network issue (judging by how many posts there are on here now, from users all having the same issue)?

Re: ....another ‘Picture Breakup’ thread (CR2 area).

I'm not one for bumping threads however, seeing that nobody from VM has even bothered to reply to this thread, which was posted TWO WEEKS AGO (and other earlier threads have been responded to), I feel that its justified.....

Smiley Mad

I was still getting pixelation last night whilst watching 'Cleaning Up' on ITV HD at 9pm - can a VM forum member PLEASE respond................

Re: ....another ‘Picture Breakup’ thread (CR2 area).

@deans6571

It looks like you have a ‘real’ issue, probably cause by your signal levels being slightly out, that started around the same time as there was a temporary issue that affected many, including myself.

Can you please get somebody to have a look at this one? Thanks. @ModTeam

Hi deans6571

Thank you for posting on our community forum pages. We apologise for the delay in responding.

We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing issues with the picture quality of your TV service.

Can we ask you to check the cables, wall socket and splitter are secure?

It's also important that the set top box is well ventilated.

Are you viewing on an HD TV and is this through a HDMI or SCART cable?

Hi.

These are all common checks which are not really responsible for my issues.....

Yes - All Cables are secure....

Yes - box is ventilated....

Yes - I am viewing on an HD TV with HDMI....

COME ON - I would at least have expected a response better than that........?!!

How about running a test on my box to begin with......
