Volume keeps going off

My volume keeps going off when I change channels, sometimes it comes back on on its own, sometimes I have to reboot the box, it's doing it more frequently now and it's just random channels it's not just one, I can scroll  down around 10 channels and no sound on any them but then i go backwards and maybe 2 of them start up, is this a box problem as my TV is fine

Going into settings on your V6 select audio and change Dolby digital to PCM to fix that issue
