Will the new 360 voice activated remote work with a v6 box, if so how do I get one, my neighbour called virgin and they gave him one free. 🤷🏼‍♂️

No, is the short answer. The 360 remote is for the 360 software, just like the V6 remote is for the V6.

What your neighbour has done is to request a voluntary migration from V6 > 360.

The 360 software is completely different to TiVo software that your V6 runs on.

Yes, you can request that your V6 is converted to 360 software - there's some info on VM's advertising page here 

Be aware there are significant differences between the TiVo/V6 & 360 products - so do your research and decide to migrate, on an informed basis. There is no "change of mind" policy with 360.
