I’ve have had a Samsung UHD TV a while now, my third Samsung, and entered all the settings from my first and have a picture I that is perfect, I was a technical dyer for 45 years so poor colour drives me mad.
I have a V6 box set to 2160 and have watched Virgin Ultra, BT Sport UHD, You Tube 4K and BBC iPlayer Natural History programmes in wonderful HD colour.
Eurosport put a temporary UHD channel on Virgin a few weeks ago and the colour was dire, red tinged, dull and unwatchable, today I had a look at the tennis on iPlayer, this was the same.
The thing that made me think Virgin was responsible for this by the way they are transmitting it was when I put up the time run and remaining graphic at the bottom of the screen this was also red tinged and dull, totally different to when it’s on normal TV or indeed the above 4 channels.
Has anyone else noticed this?
