V6 to remote tv

I recently installed an upgrade v6 box and had to add a new start converter and splitter to feed an existing co-ax run to a kitchen tv .This does work but the video only shows in five second bursts the audio is not affected in any way has anyone had a similar experience with this set up ,I’m wondering if it’s just a faulty converter?

Re: V6 to remote tv

More than likely an HDCP handshake problem. As per a lot of other posts on this forum, some HDMI splitters work with the V6, some don’t. So it’s a good idea to do some research before purchasing.
