Regarding Shweby's comment, the status of your hard drive seems fine from our end. I'd like you to try manually connecting to the network by following these steps: press Home on your remote > select Help & Settings > select Settings > select Network > select Connect to the Virgin Media Service now.
Have you also reconnected all cables to and from your TV box to ensure they're tight and secure? Could you also confirm that your box is well ventilated and not overheating?
