Since receiving my new hub box the v6 box upstairs is not connecting to the Internet 

Have done everything suggested etc switch off check connections 

Help do I need an engineer

Are you using a wired or wifi connection?

if you've received a new hub it will have a different SSID (network name) and password, unless you changed it to match the settings on the original hub

Are you searching for the new hub name on your V6?
