Box refuses to connect. Had engineer out who quoted new hdmi required months ago. Still nothing after expensive cables bought, starts then cuts off on LG, Samsung & Phillips smart tv's and unresponsive to remote. Have spent 4 hours trying to reset with no solution. Virgin website says no issue, me and kids say there's no flipping tv. New box required ??

Yes three different ones to make sure it wasn't a tv interface issue.
Resets completed with all three plus swapping of hdmi cables and input ports on all.

Can we go back to the start, did you have a working V6 to your TV and it stopped working or was this a new install and it's never worked.
So how did the engineer prove it was HDMI cable problem, did he connect the V6 to his test monitor using both his HDMI cable and your's and it didn't work with your cable so did he then try his cable to your TV and it worked, if that was the case why didn't he just give you a HDMI cable ?
