No such option, he has a V+ box. Series links work differently on that box.
OP, you need to find the programme in the guide and press yellow to record the new series. On V+ only the current series is recorded when using Series Link. If "press yellow" isn't yet there for that programme you'll just have to wait, Virgin don't really care whether Series Links work or not on their older boxes, but they usually get fixed eventually.
