Having found the series "The Sinner" on BBC4 I set a series Link.  Non of the episodes record and when I look at options it only shows it as being on Netflix even though is appears on BBC4 listings. Anybody know why?  If I set it to record a single episode then the record symbol appears in the listing.

It may be that there is no "New" flag set on the BBC4 series.

Set the series link to "All" instead of just "New" & it should pick them up.

I have it set as New or reruns but the issue still happens

I’m not sure that setting to All Channels is the solution if a series link set with New & repeats didn’t pick up and schedule the episodes.

Personally, my series link, set to New, did the job.

There have been other reports of series links not doing the job while individual recordings were possible. I don’t know if these were ever resolved.

...perhaps it's not being picked up as 'New, because the series has been on Netflix for quite some time so the V6 isn't seeing this as a 'New' show (assuming that a Series Link also scans Netflix)? And, by the same token, its not seeing it a 'Repeat' either as the show has not been repeated before?

...sound like a bug perhaps?

As I said, they were picked up as New for me and, if you look at the dates, they have been changed to December this year for series 1 which was shown on BBC4.

Series 2 dates are still old but there is, as yet, no evidence that series 2 will be shown on BBC. I did watch series 2 myself from Netflix.

As a number of other contributers have mentioned this does not work. The options do not offer ALL.  There is an option for EVERYTHING but this doesnt work either.  The show is available on IPlayer but even though I have streaming and recorded chosen as options it only shows Netflix as having the programme even thougn I can go into the Iplayer App and see the programmes there.  I can't even set a bookmark so the Iplayer shows show in MY SHOWS.

There is certainly something wrong in the way this programme is being identified in the TV listings.

Where are these other contributors with the same issue as you with this program?

I only see myself, for whom the series link worked perfectly.

seems to make sense to me as I would have thought the same. Apologies for the misunderstanding
