Tv red lines

When I change the source back to Virgin from my PS4 or other device, red lines appear on the sharpest details of the picture. Requiring me to turn the box off and on again. I’ve phoned customer services and they told me to turn my box off and on again. I don’t want to do that every time I change source

Thanks for your post and welcome to our community. 

Really sorry to hear you're having this issue, it is a little odd. 

Does it happen when swapping sources from one to another, or just from any device back to Virgin if that makes sense? 

Which box are you currently using?

I have the v6 box. And from any source back to virgin. I have a Toshiba 65”.

Thanks for coming back to us Johnjrichardson.

 

Would you be able to try a different HDMI cable from the box to your TV, I just want to make sure it isn't any of the cables before getting this looked into by our faults team.

It was the hdmi supplier but I will try another.

Still the same problem. It only happens when switching from another device to virgin media. I turn the box off and on again and it’s fine.

So it sounds like there is an issue with your TV box Johnjrichardson. 

 

The team would need to look into this further, we can do this via online chat,if that is ok with you. The chat wont be available until 8 am tomorrow but if you click on the link that should appear at the bottom right of your screen but can only accessed after 8 am tomorrow.
