Turn off Audio description

Hi, I am constantly having to turn off audio description when watching any of the itv channels, it automatically turns on if I change channels. 
After looking through some older posts I can see this is problem that many people are having.

Any known solutions for this?

There's been a few posts about similar issues, but I'm not sure that necessarily extrapolates to "many people" having the same problem.

Have you tried toggling AD via the audio settings menu? Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Devices > Audio?

I am sorry that you have had some issues with audio description. 

 

Have you managed to follow the advise from japitts? If so has it worked? 

 

Could you let me know what set top box you have?
