Hi. I recently received the email from virgin as a loyal customer to be offered a new v6 box for free ax long as I self install. I thought I’d jump at the chance to replace an awfully slow TiVo box. However, the email just takes me to an ‘oops’message and I have to dial a number. All that number does is have a recording saying press 1 to cancel or 2 to reschedule. There are no other options. How does this message relate to getting the box as it makes no sense. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get the free V6 box please? Thanks.
Unfortunately a number of customers are receiving the "oops" message when using the email link.
The best way to get the free V6 is to speak to Customer Services. Ring 150 from your Virgin landline or 0345 454 1111 from any other phone, select option 1, 4 & then 5 for "thinking of leaving us" - don't worry about the name, they do much more. This is a UK based team and they'll be able to process the V6 order for you straight away.
