Evening all, I'm at a loss. I just received my new Tivo box and following the instructions had it set up. 

The remote is paired with the TV but the volume control is not working.

Now I tried to follow the instructions by going to;

Home > Help & Settings > Help (This is where the problem starts)

A window pops up saying "One moment" and then soon after return to the previous screen. 

So no tabs to select at the top with regards to setting up the remote. 

Any advice other than use a hammer will be appreciated.

Is this a TiVo or a V6? If you're not sure, check here  - is it a fault replacement or new install?

And have you restarted the box, this can often help apps load initially?
