I had agreed a V6 upgrade but when I checked the upgrade price to my present price there was an additional £10+. After reading the VM community website under the heading Game changing Virgin tv launch it states "Pricing for the V6 box is simple transparent and WILL NOT incur additional monthly subscription fees" NOT TRUE. It also states "Existing customers will not need to change package to benefit" NOT TRUE . I was willing to pay same package cost and the £65 installation/activation fee but after paying my present £80 to £91.60 I cancelled my order .Just before I typed this I read of someone getting it FREE. What the heck are existing customers to believe.I will be and told VM waiting for my contract to expire and then leave to its major competitor who are ringing me weekly to go back and I'm sure could get a matching deal.
I've just about had enough of VM I moved to VM after competitors price got silly I was impressed with VMs package but then discovered the TiVo box was donkeys years out of date I'll now put up with the remaining time I have left then leave I just hope a few more think like this and VM get the message that what they write or even say is not correct !!!
honstly it will cost about the same with sky i know thats not even with phone and boardband it will be bit more with sky with everything i think sky is alot more expensive with everything thats with phone line boardband/fibre if its in your area and tv

I wouldn't recommend anyone to complete upgrade offers on the website, I would phone retentions if you don't get any joy ring again and again until you are getting a good deal, don't be put off by ringing different operators.
