Re: The V6 charges and cost

Exactly what I paid, after they initially wanted about £144. I felt I had negotiated a good deal.....and I am on top package. Doesn't make me feel I want to continue my loyalty when my contract next runs off.

Re: The V6 charges and cost

Well I've rung up 3 times and had 6 different prices quoted to me

£49.95 + £14.95

£49.95 + £14.95 + £5 a month

£49.95 + £14.95 + £10 a month

£99.95 + £14.95 + £5 a month

£99.95 + £14.95 + £10 a month

Then when I complained about the random pricing I got a price I liked

£14.95 and no monthly fee - I asked them to confirm this repeatedly, and they did so I took it.

Turns out they lied and it was

£14.95 + £5 a month

So fed up with VM.  Why can't they have a simple, clear and transparent pricing structure, rather than a confused mess that their own staff don't understand let alone us the long suffering customer

Re: The V6 charges and cost

So what do you currently have, so we can tell you which price was correct?

Re: The V6 charges and cost

Just realised I'm not answering the question Smiley Happy

I currently have Big Kahuna bundle: Full House TV (XL), Vivid 200, Talk More Anytime, with Tivo and a V+ box

Re: The V6 charges and cost

Ok, so based on this thread, you would be charged in the following permutations:

Replace TiVo with V6: £49.95 + £14.95 one off

Replace V+HD with V6: £49.95 + £14.95 one off, £5/mth

Replace both with V6s: £49.95 + £49.95 + £14.95 one off, £5/mth

N.B. The above assumes you don't have any existing recurring promotional/loyalty discounts applied to your package which will be lost if you enter into a new contract.

Re: The V6 charges and cost

Thank you for that clarification.

So why was that so hard for the 4 or 5 people I spoke to, to explain that? Or just be consistent?

And why was I charged £99.95 for the installation but had a special loyalty bonus to lower it to £49.95?

It's just terrible customer service, plain & simple

Re: The V6 charges and cost

The price is £99.95 but people like yourself get a £50 discount if you have both TV Full House and BB 200Mb.

Re: The V6 charges and cost

It’s generally not a good thing to post on a year old thread.

There is currently a program to provide a V6 free to each customer who doesn’t have one.
