TV GO sign in problems

Hi I wanted to watch something on demand on my virgin TV and was asked to sign in . Put in my email and virgin password but I’m told there was an ‘error’ but regardless of how many times I try to sign in I can get no further

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with TV Go.

 

How has it been since posting? Are you still unable to sign into the app? If so, could you tell me which device you're currently using to view TV Go?

Hi josh

many thanks for your reply. No I’m afraid I’ve got no further. I went on to my Virgin account online - signed in in order to check I was using the correct password and I managed to sign in there successfully so I knew it was correct. Back to the TV and still telling me I’ve made an error. I have the new V6 box - I admit I can’t recall signing in for anything when I had the old box but I was browsing On demand and fancied a box set but as I say can’t get any further

I think it’s time to ask what you were trying to watch.

There is no need to provide any login information for any of the On Demand material as part of your TV service with Virgin Media.

On the other hand, material from Netflix requires a chargeable account and sign in from Netflix.

I wanted to see how much it cost to rent the movie ‘The greatest showman’ and to see if I could see the old movie The third man

I ve been trying to go to the Virgin store , so basically Home, the on demand, then box sets or movies and ‘ok-ing’ on the Virgin store icon. I’m asked to sign in and despite checking meticulously every time - I get the message that I’ve used the wrong email or password 

that’s where I’m stuck !

Hi CS321,

Thank you for getting back to me with this information.

From what I can understand your trying to use you Virgin Media log in details that you would use for your online billing account or for TV Go. The Virgin Media Store is separate from this and you need to have an account set up for this.

Have you signed up for an account with the Virgin Media Store? If not you can do that (here).
