Streaming Recording from V6 and/or TiVo to TV Anywhere on PC

Hi,

This may be a misunderstanding but i thought I could watch recordings from my V6 (and possibly TiVo too) on TV Anywhere? One of my two (two seriously???) devices is a PC but I can't see the option.

Thanks

Watching V6 recordings on TV Anywhere only works if you are on the same local area network as the box, i.e. at home, take a look here

Also you can only use a mobile device to stream or download recordings from your V6 box.

Streaming recordings to a PC or Mac isn't possible at present.

And only works on certain channels - not everything will stream/download.....

TV Anywhere is a bit optimistic, isn't it. They should rename it The Occasional Channel In The Room Next Door.

Re: Streaming Recording from V6 and/or TiVo to TV Anywhere on PC

You would have thought that since millions of VM users have either PC's running Windows ( the worlds biggest OS ) or Macs (2nd largest user base) that VM would have this done by now...lame excuses and software that is not fit for purpose...why do we pay extra for items that half work

Re: Streaming Recording from V6 and/or TiVo to TV Anywhere on PC

Why is it called TV Anywhere if we can't watch it on a computer in another room?

Re: Streaming Recording from V6 and/or TiVo to TV Anywhere on PC

It's not any more. It's now two apps.

The one for TiVo and V6 management and recording streaming from the V6 box is now called TV Control. This works on Android and iOS.

There is a new app called TV Go for live TV and On Demand streaming and is available on Android, iOS, Windows 10 and supported browsers.
