Sound but no picture

There is sound but no picture on the V6 box. All other devices work on TV fine. Tried turning v6 box off and restarting but no joy. Other posts on this board have said the box is broken and needs to be replaced.

Do you get the menu system and EPG if you press the menu buttons? How about the video preview in the top-right?

When you restarted the V6, did you see the "Welcome" & "Starting up" graphics?

Hello, thanks for responding.

No there was absolutely nothing on the screen. However this morning the picture has come back and it seems fine. Not sure if this is going to be an intermittent fault or if its an indication the box is on its way out?

Sorry to hear you have been experiencing issues with the picture from your TV box. 

It sounds as though there may have been an issue with the HDMI cable bringing the signal in to your TV from the box. 

If you can please check all of the connections are tight and secure! Alternatively your TV may have changed the default channel for the box? (Eg HDMI 2 to HDMI 1) its always worth manually checking all the sources on your TV to see if the signal is coming through!
