I have just changed package with virgin but didnt change my sports package, now my main box is fine my sky sports and bt sports work fine but on my 2nd box bt sports works but sky sports is blacked out can you help?

Do you have Sky Sports SD or HD? It might be that you are looking at the wrong channel numbers.
The HD channels are on 501 to 510, and the SD channels on 511 to 520.
You could try to update the channels list using your remote control go to
Help & Settings > Help > Virgin TV > go up to the top of the screen then TV Care and press OK > Missing Channels.? > Refresh my channels list
If that doesn't help then try a reboot and if that fails I'm afraid you'll need to contact TV Faults. That's 150 from a Virgin landline or mobile , or 0345 454 1111, option 2 (Faults)
When calling Faults you will hear the automated response asking you to press 1 for the link to online support etc
Ignore all the options and don't press any buttons then you should be placed into a queue and an agent should pick up the phone and resolve the problem.

I did the refresh my missing channels and nothing.
I have SD not HD sports and yes I checked both but its still greyed out.
I rang the tec team an hr ago and he reset the box and sent a code to the machine or something like that but that didn't work either, so I'm now waiting for someone else to ring me back to see if they can sort it out 🤷♀️🤷♀️

It seems the second box wasn't activated for my sky sports but they have sorted it out for me now 😁😁
