I'm presuming I need a new remote as despite fresh batteries its painful trying to get a response from some of the buttons, I'm guessing I've had it a few years so presumably don't last forever.
How do I go about requesting one?

You can try ordering one here , which also explains how you can use the TV Control app as an alternative in the meantime.
