I have this exact problem. 

Spoken to virgin and they are sending out an engineer for this issue

Hi Paulina,

 

The issue is when I turn the box on it says welcome then starting up then the light on the front flashes amber/yellow then returns back to the welcome screen. 

Every third time it brings up a box with an arrow down that fills to a solid colour then returns back to the welcome screen. 

 

I hope this is enough information.
