I have woken up to this stutter on ITV only ( even the adds) after a weirded day yesterday when all catch up on demand and app service was lost on the Givi box for most of the day. Broadband internet was working. It was strange as I could get Netflix using the internet on my smart tv. Looks as if we have another day of patchy service again. What’s going on virgin used to be a good service but over the past year the service has deteriorated to a point were am considering switching to another supplier

Your TV will have an internet connection of itself and on-board apps won't use your VM box, so they would have been unaffected by yesterday's outage.
Which channels are you having problems with today - can you be specific including SD/HD as that will help.
Also check for local area issues using the automated line - 0800 5610061
