I have recently changed my Prime account. The account I was using Prime on has been deactivated by Amazon, at my request. It was working fine on both of my v6 boxes. 

Now, when I go in to the Prime app, on both boxes, it sticks at the opening screen - “Amazon Prime” with a blue background, Nothing else happens, no chance to register the “new” equipment on my account. 

Any ideas how I can get round this?

The new account is working fine when I open it on the in-built TV system.

Both V6 boxes and TVs are connected to the internet via the same VM hub.

I have restarted both boxes, same result.

It's not clear from your post whether you can use other streaming services and/or OnDemand on your V6?

From how I'm interpreting your symptoms, that will help decide whether this is a problem with your V6's internet connectivity, or your Prime login.

Netflix and iPlayer are fine. 

Prime login is working on the tv internet connection. 

I can’t get to the chance to login on V6 - all I’m seeing is the Prime start screen.

Switched on today and the app is working fine on both boxes. 

Devices are now registered with my account.  

Odd, perhaps it just took some time for Amazon to catch up with the account change and register it with VM? 

Anyway, problem resolved.
