Possible scam text returning Virgin equipment

I recently received a text, saying 'Hi, It's Virgin Media. We haven't got our kit back from you yet. Can we collect it from the address at xxxxxxxxxxxx on xxxxxxxxxxxxx? Please reply CONFIRM if this is ok.'

As it happens, I do have equipment after I moved, which I forgot to send back, so it could very well be legitimate, but of course I'm concerned it's a scam. Could anyone shed light if this might be so, or if it's a possible legitimate text. The address was correct to my new address, and I had given them it previously when I left my old house for final bills etc.

Hello

Yes it is legitimate as VM are picking up some unused equipment from the doorstop, due to some areas being in Tier 3.
