Hi

Is anyone having pixellation issues on Viaplay Sports1?

I’ve now noticed this on the previous broadcaster  LaLigaTv and again now on Viaplay.

This is very bad on Spanish football it’s a constant pain especially watching Live games..

Pixellated pictures on live TV are often the sign of a signal fault. If you've rebooted your box once, then there's likely a fault somewhere, so this will need VM to intervene. You're likely to need either an engineer visit or a replacement box, depending on what VM's remote diagnostics turn up.

It won't alter the advice, but Viaplay-1 is carried on the same TX as ITV2-HD, ITV3-HD, ITV-4-HD, 5-Action-HD & E!-HD - all of which should be similarly affected by a signal fault.

First check the automated faults line for any existing issues in your area that could be the cause: 0800 5610061. If nothing's reported, assume VM don't know about your fault and ideally you'll need to call them.

150 from a VM phone, 0345 4541111 from any other phone - choose the options for "I have a fault with my TV service". Alternatively you can wait on here for staff to respond, which may take a day or so.

We're sorry to hear you've been having some issues with pixelation 😔 As a big football fan myself, I can imagine it's extremely frustrating when watching live games. 

 

We have checked our systems and cannot see any area issues at the moment. How is the picture looking since your post? Also, is this a problem you're experiencing on one box or more?

Hi thanks for your reply I can confirm this issue is on Viaplay channels 1 2 & extra on all boxes. Now given this is an issue with lots of other viewers I suggest this is a broadcasting issue which needs to be shared back to the broadcaster.

What makes you think this is a widespread issue wither other customers? I would expect significant volumes of posts on this forum, if this were a widespread fault.

Have you checked the other channels I mentioned in post#2 above, to see if those are affected?
