On demand and Catch up disappeared

Hi all,

My on demand and catch up have disappeared from my options when I search for a show. If for instance I used to search postman pat it would say get from on demand, that option has gone.

No error code, just nothing displayed on right window when you highlight ondemand or catchup tv.

Can't access v6 via virgin app either, it can't find the v6. So can't copy my scheduling from tivo to v6 either,  as I have been told I should be able to do.

Spoke to tech team again but all they get me to do is switch things off and on, as I have been doing for a month now.

However my old tivo box is still working perfectly for on demand and catchup.

Thanks and hopefully someone can help

Re: On demand and Catch up disappeared

Hi, Fitbit82.

Thanks for your post and welcome to our community.

Sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with catch up and on demand settings. Just to check, are you still experiencing the same issue until now? If so, please let us know so we can help further by looking into the account if needed, and identifying any issues there may be.

As you've mentioned, you can't access your V6 using the app either. Can you please tell what is this specific app that you are using?

Please keep us posted for any updates.

Re: On demand and Catch up disappeared

Hi,

Still having the same issues. It works on the TiVo box in the second room but not the v6 on the main box.

Thanks

Re: On demand and Catch up disappeared

Thanks for getting back to us, Fitbit82.

We may need to check things further to identify the issue why your On Demand and Catch up option is not showing up. Is your internet working fine? Can you please tell if your V6 box is fully connected to your hub?  Let us know.

Re: On demand and Catch up disappeared

How is the box connected to your hub for accessing the internet? Is it direct wired or using WiFi?

Cable customer since 1993. Services: FH TV, Sky Sports/Cinema (2xV6), Talk Anytime Phone, 350M BB, Virgin PAYG Mobile

Re: On demand and Catch up disappeared

Thanks for the information, Fitbit82.

Can you confirm if your internet is working?

And do you get any error message when you try accessing On Demand or Catch Up?

Looking forward to hear from you.

Kind Regards,

Chai_S

Re: On demand and Catch up disappeared

Hi,

My internet is working fine, there isn't an error  the actual menu has gone. There used to be three menus appear, when you push right and I think one said create series link and the bottom said get this show and went to on demand, that's gone.

Re: On demand and Catch up disappeared

Can you check and make sure that the ethernet cord on your V6 to the hub is properly connected?

Can you also try a different ethernet cord if you have a spare one?

Keep us posted on this.

Thanks,
