What device are you watching Netflix on?
You've posted in the broadband section so I presume it's a laptop, tablet or phone - do you have problems with any other devices on the same broadband connection?
https://help.netflix.com/en/node/59990 reports "This error means an issue with data stored on your device is stopping Netflix from playing."
There is some online assistance on the link above, depending what device you're watching on.

Which Virgin TV box do you have? TiVo, V6 or 360? Check the pictures on the link below if you're not sure.

V6 Box

Sorry only part of my message has been added.
My V6 box keeps crashing on Netflix saying that there is something on the box that's causing an issue.
I've rebooted and nothing changes. Netflix works on Ipad and Iphone. This is the Netflix that is on the VM package and not a standalone program.

Can you use other OnDemand & streaming services on your V6, it's only Netflix that's causing issues?
Have you tried restarting your box via the Help & Settings menu?

Its only Netflix on the V6 box - all other services work perfectly

Rebooted many times - works briefly (30 seconds at most) then crashes

Been similar reports in the Sky forums too - I suspect that Netflix have done something are are not going to admit it.
They have added a new profile transfer system in the past week or so.
