Purchased a new Samsung tv with the new enhanced audio return channel and it’s connected to my Samsung sound bar but it’s so out of voice sync on the virgin media v6 box I’ve spoken to Samsung and richer sounds and looked on google and from what I’ve been told it’s a software issue on the v6 box with voice sync and the earc anyone else having lip sync issues using earc

Its normally a software incompatibility between the 2 systems.  You could try the following

• Where possible, ensure the TV is connected directly to
the TiVo/V6, not via an amp.
• If you have an amp or soundbar, and their TV
has an optical output, connect it TiVo/V6 → TV → Amp.
• Check if the TV has any lip-sync adjustments.
• Turn off any picture 'enhancements' on the TV such as
high refresh rates or Movie Mode. Try turning on Game
Mode. Try turning the TV contrast down. On recent
Panasonic TVs, try enabling “1080p Pure Direct”.
• Try changing the TiVo's Dolby setting, either to Dolby or
PCM, and see which is better.

First thing to check/try, is the audio output settings.

Home > Help & Settings > Settings > Audio > Dolby.

Try toggling the PCM setting.

I’m using a hdmi cable and my v6 is on bitstream which is correct for using my atmos sound bar and the  audio setting on my Samsung tv is set to auto which is correct richer sounds said it’s a v6 issue

I wouldn't say it was a V6 issue as it would be doing it with other systems as well.  Maybe a compatibility issue between Samsung setup and V6 software
