Have I been scammed?

Just received a phone call from 08001836411, claiming I'm being sent a new TV box and asking me to confirm my first line of address and postcode...

Is this a genuine call or a scam? The who-called-me website seems to imply it's dodgy...

I am now incredibly worried!

Thanks in advance,

Kate

Re: Have I been scammed?

Thanks for your prompt and reassuring reply.
When you get an unsolicited call offering you something for nothing, it's only natural to be sceptical - some scam are very sophisticated these days, and it's difficult to be sure sometimes...

Absolutely and you did the right thing to check it out.  Nothing wrong with healthy scepticism especially these days.
