Have 2 x V6 boxes: Should both be hard-wired ( coaxial or Ethernet?) or can I do1 hard-wired/1 wireless?

I have 2 x V6 boxes. For full functionality must both be hard-wired. ( here, coaxial or Ethernet possible/best?) Or can I have just one hard-wired via coaxial and the other linked via wireless? If wireless OK, would the wireless option need a booster via power line etc. and would this be OK for 4K output? Thanks.

Hi @Yanh

Both boxes require a coaxial connection for the live TV.

You need either a wireless or ethernet connection for the catchup, on demand, EPG and system updates.

Just to clarify.. all VM TV boxes need 2 connections..

1: Co-ax cable, this is what carries your live TV channels

2: An internet connection for OnDemand, streaming & various updates. Your homehub provides this - Ethernet is always recommended given the choice, but reliable wireless is often sufficient.
