Re: Firmware

With previous software, if a V6 was in Eco Low Power mode and in Standby, MRS between multiple boxes would fail. Now the software detects this state and wakes the box from Eco Low Power mode Standby to allow MRS.

Change to an SD channel, say 101, and see what the blue button does.

Hi
Is their a reason why my v6 tivo was showing a white light when I woke up at 6am ?🤔
Was it due to network and server maintenance?
Hardware version: 2048.0
Software version: 20.7.6.RC7-VMB-11-C68
Platform: DCX960

My V6 is still on 20.5.8.1.RC17-VMB-11C68

Wonder if there is much differences....

...hmm, gonna check mine tonight to see if it has changed.

Re: Firmware

@deans6571

From another post elsewhere, it appears that the expected production level is being rolled out (20.7.6.RC20).

Re: Firmware

Also on the Renfrew headend

Version now 20.7.6.RC20-VMB-11-C68 as above.

Blue button seems to do nothing on 101.

Nice to be able to post again, after their mistake (removed by the Censorship team).

Re: Firmware

@frank_gm

Is it only 101 that fails to swap to the HD version by pressing the blue button?

What does happen if you press the blue button on 101?

Blue button does what it should here, also in Scotland, but a different part of the network.

Nothing happens when I press the blue button.

I have tried it on a variety of channels with both the peanut remote from my original Tivo and the V6 remote.

Re: Firmware

Sorry to hear this isn’t working for you, @frank_gm, as this was tested during the alpha and beta trials.

It’s working for me here so perhaps the headend is part of the function and it hasn’t been updated. I’ll report this back.

Given their history of Tivo upgrades, at least you did not combine the words Virgin and tested in the same sentence.

That would be too funny for words.
