I have followed the instructions below and it tells me it will happen within 30 minutes... i've done it twice with no luck - once 4 days ago, once yesterday.
I have re-started the machine a few times but it makes no difference.
How do i get this resolved? I had hundreds of wishlists and would not be able to recreate them from memory. I was told that it would copy across without any issues.
What can be copied?

There's no harm trying, but I don't think it'll work. When your V6 was activated, your TiVo was deactivated.
I'm fairly sure that will prevent it from booting up.

Several Virgin representatives lied to me.
the brochure in the box for the new machine lied to me,
their website lied to me...
all on a fault that they have apparently known about for months... this has caused me distress and will amount to hours of time to put it all in manually once we've brainstormed as much as we can (on top of the googling and these posts looking for a solution)... Virgin are responsible for this distress and massive waste of my time. This is not acceptable. I have raised a complaint and will be seeking either a proper resolution or recompense for my time and compensation for both their lies and apparent in-activity..
We shall have to see how they respond to the complaint.
