Since the recent lineup changes, I can no longer select Sky Arts HD on it's new channel number 140. Every time I choose channel 140, the V6 (and my Tivo Box) switches the the channel for a few seconds and then changes to channel 139. This also happens with a couple of other HD channels - switch to them and after a few seconds they drop down a channel number.
Anyone have any idea why this is happening and what I can do to stop it?
Regards,
Dave

There is no such function as network remote control in the 360 settings

Where exactly are you finding this network control option?
Do you mean controlling your V6 using the TV Control app?
360 is a completely different software platform to TiVo/V6.

Thanks for that info, I shan't be upgrading to 360 boxes, then.

it's in Settings ... Devices.
I send commands from my linux box to change the channels.

Ah yes... one of the long-lost menus that I've never had cause to use (and I've been using TiVo/V6 since many years)
I guess a rarely-used menu creates rarely-experienced symptoms! At the moment I've got all 6 tuners recording for the next couple of hours, but I might have a play tomorrow. You've got me curious.
And by the way, the trick used to check each of your tuners manually using the info menu - that's not available on 360.

Hi japitts,
Did you ever get a chance to test switching to channel 140 on your V6/tivo box with the Network Remote enabled?

Dave.

So, I haven’t tried channel 140 for a while, but I just thought I’d take a look and it is now working!

It was probably as a result of changing my package, part of my tv360 upgrade marathon. If I’d known the package change would fix it, I probably wouldn’t have bothered with the tv360 stuff!

So you don't have a V6 anymore.
