In the last week, any multiple recordings that have been put in folders aren’t showing. The folders are showing and the V6 box says how many recordings are in the folder but when I select the folder, I just get the scrolling circle and nothing shows in the list. Single recordings are working fine. Connecting to my secondary box also shows all recordings in folders, but the main box isn’t working.

Folders are usually for series links, this is presumably happening on all of them?
Have you tried a restart, just to rule out the simple fix?

Sorry for the delay in replying and thanks for your response. Over the weekend, all the recordings suddenly reappeared in the folders with no intervention from me, so not sure what happened there.
