Can I use a video sender with new TV V6BOX

Having had a new Virgin TV V6 BOX fitted today, any suggestions on how I can now connect my "HQ+ 5.8Ghz Video Sender kit" (that I use to watch sport etc on the tv in a nearby room)  which has a scart lead which fitted (and worked) in my original TIVO box.

The new V6 box does not appear to have a scart connection. Many thanks for any help.

You'd need either an HDMI video sender, or HDMI to SCART converter.

TV: XL+SkySports V6
BB: 200Mbps SuperHub: Arris
Loc: ME10

Re: Can I use a video sender with new TV V6BOX

The lack af a scart output should be made more clear for anyone getting a V6.  Many using it for video senders, sending a signal to another TV or recording to DVD/external hard drive.  I'm sticking with Tivo for this reason.  You may be able to use an HDMI splitter and a HDMI to scart converter but its all extra clutter.

Suspect the scart omission on the V6 is because they want you to buy extra boxes !

Re: Can I use a video sender with new TV V6BOX

I not really, the previous person suggested a hdmi/scart lead, have checked this out on the internet. We moved the original TiVo box into another room, but cannot get a decent picture on the additional tv. Do you have any ideas???

My V6 box has a small round socket labelled "SCART OUT" on the rear panel. Would an adapter lead with suitable plug to old SCART socket work, and if so where can I get one?

Re: Can I use a video sender with new TV V6BOX

Has anyone worked out the best way to use some form of video sender with a V6 as I have three TIVOs and didn't upgrade as all have video senders on.

Also would all three V6 have to be wired to my VM hub?

Thanks

Re: Can I use a video sender with new TV V6BOX

I have same problem. Just had V6 installed today and guess what, audio/video sender not connected. I have located on Amazon a 9 pin mini din to rca cable. This appears to be the correct configuration. It is listed as A Sega Genesis 2 scart. Unfortunately the lead will not arrive until late May. Cost of cable including postage is about £7.00.

That port on the V6 is disabled and does not work, you need an HDMI to scart converter and an hdmi splitter
