Box deleted virtually everything

We had about a 70% full box, we now have a 8% full box

The series links all seem to exist, but all the recordings have gone. 

No problems we are aware of. 

Basic question. Is the box about to die?

Are the missing recordings showing in your undelete folder?

And does the disk space tally with the same readings from Help & Settings > System info?

Deleted items contains some items we deleted a while ago only, and system settings tallies with the 8% - 106 hours of HD space out of 120 hours.

Have you changed TV packages at all? If you have, are the recordings from channels that you no longer subscribe to?

No. No changes to my subscription at all.

If that were the cause, I'd expect the recordings to still be there, but be inaccessible with an error code.

Them being apparently deleted sounds like either an error or fault.

I am sorry to hear that you have had some issues with your TV recording delating. 

 

Could you confirm the TV box you currently have, is this the 360 or V6?

I'd be looking in the undelete folder, and rebooting a couple of times.

If that doesn't do the trick, then it's fair to say the recordings are not there.
