BBC iPlayer not working

The box says the app is loading but no matter how long you wait it doesn’t load. 

We we are connected and have tried rebooting.

Unfortunately bbc iplayer has a number of quirks that can at times stop it working.
If there are no extra lights flashing on your box, and no one is streaming video or using you internet connection excessively that chances are its just case if iplayer being a swine.



You can't learn anything from a mistake until you admit that you've made it.

I found the apps such as iPlayer to be almost unwatchable on the TiVo as they were so slow and clunky, but they are much better on the V6. In fact, I'm watching the first episode of Troy right now on iPlayer.

I don’t know I will check but all other on demand works fine. 

 

It works on the box downstairs!

I’m on my third TiVo box now, iplayer has been dreadful for a couple weeks now, as has my ‘new’ TiVo box, currently been sitting  here for 10 mins & it just says it’s loading????? The TiVo box itself has got me biting cushions in frustration this week with its slowness, black screen inbetween switching from my shows, I’ve rebooted three times, checked my service status says it’s fine, it’s just so rubbish! I am an XL customer of well over 5 years now, paying £80 a month. Aren’t we supposed to be getting the V6 box for free to replace this hunk of metal - please Virgin

I'm really sorry to hear you've had so much trouble with iPlayer.

 

I've run diagnostics on the box and I've picked up an issue with the signal levels that may be causing the issue. I'd also like the technician to check the box itself.
