As both issues require a network connection, it tends to suggest that there is an issue between your V6 box and your superhub.
I would suggest that you turn your superhub off completely (remove the power lead is perhaps the easiest way) wait ten seconds and power it back on. It can take up to ten minutes for the superhub to go through its various checks and be ready for use. One only a white light is displayed on the superhub, try Iplayer and see if the issue is resolved and if it is the try Netflix.
You can't learn anything from a mistake until you admit that you've made it.
