the 360 has a round output socket labelled SCART. What cable do I need to connect this to a standard SCART socket on my DVD Recorder?

I don't believe the SCART out is active on either V6 or 360 boxes - both use the same hardware.
Are you trying to transfer recordings from your 360 to a DVD? If so, I'm pretty sure that won't work anyway - VM's copy protection should prevent this.

It is the older TiVo that had the full sized SCART, not either the V6 or 360 boxes.
Virgin don't support anything other than HDMI connections on either the V6 or 360 boxes.

You're right, I meant TIVO.
Perhaps you could correct your marketing team who assured me that I would be able to connect to my DVR from the 360. I now have a worthless DVR.
However, I guess this is not your fault so thanks for your help.

Analogue outputs have been removed from most STBs & TVs now. The V6/360 has the socket, but it was designed several years ago when analogue was still in use. SkyQ boxes no longer have them. The only analogue output that still works is the audio out 3.5mm jack.
