Watching a program while its recording

I upgraded to this to 360 malarky about a month ago. since then I obviously lost all my old recordings, which seems explained only in small print, my smart tv can no longer reverse access the virgin box as it used to, you have to use the virgin remote instead. but last night I discovered you cannot start watching the program you are currently recording from the begining until the recording has finished. I was getting an error message. 

I gather i'm unable to revert to the old system? anyway i'm not about to leave virgin because of this but it is the nail in the coffin for me. I lost the will to live getting technical support via the phone. also when I try to program a program remotely i'm told I have to wait until the box wakes up. I guess the program has passed by then? All this for over a £100 a month.

Are there any advocates of this new system? I won't be using it for much longer.

Thanks for reaching out to us, apologies for the issues that you are having with TV 360. I am afraid there is no scope for you to revert back to the old system. You should be able to rewind a programme that is being recorded in order to watch from the beginning, if you are getting an error code there can be something either hardware or software related and would need to look into this.
