Hi is there a way to turn the Virgin TV 360 Box Remotely without the remote when the box is in sleep mode? 

So you can record a program away from your house?   because at the moment it says it's offline even thou the internet is on.

The TVGO app should work if the box is set to fast start, but I guess you have probably already tried this and it's not working.

no I haven't got it set to fast start. it's the middle setting.  at the moment I still got to wake the box via the remote. 

It just would be handy to record programs outside the home via the app. that's all

It supposed to work with the 360 set to fast start or active start, I find the app very slow at connecting to the 360 in the same room as the hub if you want to try using it as a remote when the 360 is on. If you are thinking about going away I would check the tvguide before you go away and set any recordings.

You might need to experiment setting recordings when you are out and the box is in standby to set up your confidence.
