Virgin 360 in replay mode

When I use Replay to look at a programme (one I did not record but is available when I search on the box) the picture is shown in postbox I.e. wide black vertical lines each side of the picture.  Looks like I am seeing the programme as if it had been recorded on an iPHONE. Anyone seen this.

Which programme is it?  It may be a 4:3 programme if old which would be correct format.

Are you talking about live restart? Or OnDemand?

No it is not the fact that the program is 4:3. The program is A Place in The Sun and it is wide screen. When I say Replay this is In on demand mode.

Apologies for the delayed response, and sorry to hear you're having some issues with your TV service. Is this ongoing today? If so, are any other recordings affected? Can you provide a photo of the issue?
