Hi
I just updated my V6 to V360, and my LG magic remote no longer works with the Virgin box. I went through the setup with my OLED55c9pla none of the settings available for the magic remote worked with the V360.

I have just setup my LG Magic Remote with the 360 and it works fine.
What I did was go to the TV settings and select Connection->Device Connector
Select Set-Top Box/OTT, then select the correct HDMI port for the 360 Box.
When it asks for the Service Provider, type in Ziggo.
Then it tries to perform a test action, I had to select No it doesnt work a couple of times, then it worked.

Thanks for that, it worked on about the 5th one 😊

After painful attempts with this via the universal horizon remote chat stream instructions after changing to tv360 on existing by boxes, I followed your steps without much hope and to my astonishment it worked!!.. much thanks to you, my frustration is gone. The V6 itself was so easy to do, shame the tv360 update makes it hard

Hi Are you going to the LG TV settings or the Virgin Box to be able to add the Magic Remote ?

Hi,
It was done through the tv settings. Although each generation of lg tv does gave a different way of doing this. I have both a 2015 4k led and 2020 CX.
Ziggo is recognised after a few attempts

Hi, it depends on the model of the tv. On my 2020 one I went into connections , universal remote. Here it let's you find what box is connected and then test if the remote operates it.

I can get the full guide, mini guide, select channel by number, scroll through channels , move selection of movies in the demand section, turn the box on and off , pause , rewind etc.
The blue button on the MR even brings up a control menu on the TV for the box!
