Agreed to upgrade to 360 early this morning plus extra channels sports/films, box comes next monday but i was told the extra channels would kick-in today on my current box but nothing has happened yet ?

What is your current box - is it a TiVo or a V6? https://www.virginmedia.com/care/tv-fault/which-tv-box
TiVo's are hardware swapped to TV360, V6 are software-converted.
If the TV360 conversion and a package change, were all entered under the same order - then it's likely everything will be activated at the same time. If that includes a new kit delivery, then the additional channels may be delayed until then.

I have a v6 but there is a new hub tv360 due to be delivered next week
